The River Seine opens for public swimming
After a 100-year ban due to pollution, the River Seine finally opens up again for people to swim and canoe in. The pollution level was high enough to make someone feel unwell. However, the olympics were paid £1.2bn, which is 1,399,289,627.30 USD to clean it. People are now allowed to swim there because of this change.
I would swim there if I had a choice. since I like canoeing, but I’m not that sure because I heard that there is still dirty water there.
Other summer sports
Other sports I would participate in would probably be Table Tennis. In Table Tennis, you use paddles to hit the ball at each other. If you hit the net, hit the ball too far, or make it go out of bounds, then the other team gets a point. Each 11 points is a match point, and whoever gets 4 match points first wins. Another sport would be shooting. Shooting involves athletes competing in rifle, pistol, and shotgun games. The players try to aim at still or moving targets. The lowest-scoring people are eliminated. The last athlete standing wins the gold medal.
Shooting at home?
I like to practice Table Tennis in the YMCA, where they have Table Tennis Tables. But shooting? I usually shoot a square with a toy gun, pretending it is the target. I put 4 squares together with a hole in the middle. Then I count the points from where it shoots.
