On June 16th, 2022, the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals led by their star point guard Stephen Curry. His winning of the Finals MVP reinforces that he has changed basketball forever.

No one has seen a player his size dominate to the degree he has. At only 6’2, Curry is an eight-time NBA All-Star, two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), has won four NBA championships. He also holds a record for the most three-pointers in their career with 3117 3’s.

Usually, dominance is linked to of centers and forwards, with athletes like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille ‘O’ Neal, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar, who are all 6’ 7 or taller. But Steph curry, at 6’ 2, has been just as dominant.

Coach Steve Kerr even compares Steph Curry to Tim Duncan because they are both humble and selfless leaders. Andre Iguodala, who is 38, is an 18-year veteran in the NBA. He worries about his lack of respect for Curry’s greatness, and as a longtime teammate of Curry’s, he warns that he can’t play forever.
