DidDo you know that Portugal defeated Spain on the June 8th, 2025 in the Nations League final at Allianz Arena?
National soccer leagues started in the fall of 2018 and . National leagues play a significant part in their countries’ football. This was Portugal’s 2nd time winning since 2019.
The people who scored a few times in the game were Ronaldo (a forward), Lamine (also a forward), and Mikel Oyarzabal (left winger or forward). Mikel kicked the second goal for Spain. Ronaldo saved Portugal by kicking 1 goal. Ruben Neves scored a goal after Alvaro (one of Spain’s men) missed a goal. That is how the match ended in 90 minutes.
Before playing Spain, Portugal’s defeated Denmark in the quarter-finals and Germany in the semi-finals.
