Israeli-British illusionist Uri Geller bought an Island near the southeast Scottish coast, and 13 years later, it became a country with a flag and its own national anthem. Geller was famous for his telekinesis tricks, like bending spoons and controlling watches with his mind. He became a millionaire for his magic tv shows.

The small island Lamb is located next to Scotland. Geller has established a constitution and made it into a country. Geller is offering people citizenship in the country with the proceeds with be going to Save a Child’s Heart charity. This Israeli charity helps treat children with heart diseases from all over the world!

It was always Geller’s dream to have an island. “I always wanted to own an island, be like James Bond,” says Geller. When he realized that Lamb island was advertised for sale in the New York Times newspaper, he knew he had to buy it.

The connection between Egypt and Scotland stretches back far further than Geller’s purchase. Many people believe that Egypt had something to do with Scotland’s creation. There are 3 islands, Lamb Island in the middle, Fidra on the left, and Craigleith on the Right.

People think that it mirrors exactly the three pyramids of Giza. Others believe Egypt gave rise to the Scottish Nation. Many say thatthat Scotland was founded by Princess Scota, which was exiled daughter of the pharaoh whose army drew across the Red Sea.

Geller knows everything about the island. He tells stories to everyone he meets about witches that used to live in the area. “Hundreds of years ago, there were witches in Scotland and England and we all know what happened to them, and there were witches near North Berwick, where my island is,” he said.

Geller has stayed at Lamb Island before and he hopes to return to the island in the future. He left after realizing wildlife experts discovered rodent activity in the area. They will lead to an operation that will remove the rats because they can affect seabird populations such as puffins or kittiwakes.
