The new speakers are very thin, flexible enough to stick to different surfaces, and they produce a nice sound. To make this invention researchers start with a thin, flat material. To create the dome shapes on the product, they use pressure to pull that material through openings in a template. When the material is squeezed, they create an electric charge, and this would make it become more flexible and bend to its desired shape.

This design is flexible so in the future, different companies might be able to put this design into clothes and different items.
