After mocking it, President Trump signed the coronavirus pandemic relief bill on Sunday, December 27th, which provided $900 billion in pandemic aid and funded the government until the end of September 2021. This signing will provide billions of dollars for the distribution of coronavirus vaccines, funding for schools across America, small businesses, hospitals, and families, and money needed to keep the government open for the remainder of the year. Unfortunately, it also came after two strong unemployment programs lapsed, guaranteeing the delay in benefits for millions of Americans who were unemployed.
