Nick Kyrgios is an Australian pro tennis player. On October 24, 2016, he achieved a career high, ranking 13th in the world at the Association of Tennis Professionals Tour. Kyrgios has won six ATP titles and has reached nine ATP finals, including a Masters final at the 2017 Cincinnati Masters. But he is most famous, or perhaps infamous, for his reputation of being a “bad boy” of tennis. His actions have included swearing, smashing his racket, starting altercations both with the crowd and with umpires, and throwing a chair. Even though he has a big temper, he has a talent for tennis. One of his best shots is a shot from under his legs.
His most recent encounter is with Stefanos Tsitsipas. Kyrgios hit an under–the-legs serve at Tsitsipas, angering him. Tsitsipas angrily hit a ball towards the audience, nearly hitting one of the fans. Kyrgios served under his legs again and Tsitsipas hit the ball really hard. One point later, Tsitsipas tried to hit Kyrgios with the ball during one of his shots. However, Kyrgios won the match. It is more and more likely that Kyrgios will have to play against Rafael Nadal in the semifinals. Both Kyrgios and Tsitsipas were fined (Kyrgios for audible obscenity, and Tsitsipas for ball abuse).
