The heat affects a lot of people and things. The extreme heat is wide-ranging and has profound impacts on the economy, public health, and the environment. The heat can lead to heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and dehydration, all of which can be life-threatening. The Midwest is known for its dry grasslands, like Ohio and Kentucky. This can lead to crops not being able to grow and a lot of crops. The heat leads to many droughts, which causes a lack of water.
The extreme heat in the Midwest is a clear signal of a changing climate, one that demands urgent attention and action.
