Middle East War Shifts to Iran
On June 22, 2025 at 2:25 AM AEST, Israel shifted the frontline of its fight from Gaza to Iran by launching a military campaign against them. Residents scrambled to leave the Iranian capital, Tehran, after being warned to evacuate.
In recent days, grave events have been taking place in the Middle East. The whole world is aware that there has been a war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas-controlled Palestine that has created a humanitarian crisis. This conflict suddenly changed course late last week, when Israel launched a major military campaign against Iran on Friday. Israel and Iran exchanged heavy fire on Monday and into the fifth day on Tuesday in what was the most intense confrontation between these two nations in their troubled history.
Many world leaders commented on the Middle East War, and urged both sides to quickly put an end to their fighting. One world leader said, “Iran is not winning this war and they should talk immediately before its too late” (Kids News)
As both sides escalate into conflict, the world remains hopeful that tensions between the two countries will decrease soon.
