He was the head of the Department of Government Efficiency. It was DOGE for short. For a while, they looked like best friends forever. Elon Musk and DOGE were tasked with reducing US government spending and cutting jobs. For a long time, Elon Musk and Trump were very close as Elon Musk was having a lot of power in a position of Donald Trump’s new government. Last week, Elon Musk decided to step down from his role as a special government employee to concentrate on his companies SpaceX and his electric car company, Tesla. As Musk’s role ended, he might just stop being nice. He might just never be friends with Trump, but he and Trump were still best friends. Trump gave him a gift. It was a golden key! The golden key was a gift for leaving. In less than a week or so, things were just worse, as both Musk and Trump are falling apart a little bit, they got in a fight on social media. After Elon Musk social media blew up, it got worse. Donald Trump told the reporters: “Elon and I had a great relationship, I don’t know if we will anymore.” Trump said “Musk was upset because his car company Tesla, is likely to financially suffer.” At the end, they broke apart, which means the president lost the most powerful and richest support for his new government.
