The winner must sign the ticket immediately after they win. If the ticket isn’t signed, then it wouldn’t belong to you. If someone else finds an unsigned ticket, it is now theirs.
“Take a Polaroid of you holding it and (put) it in a safe deposit box or somewhere else safe,” Irwin said.
