A Japanese man wanted to ask about his favorite games, and instead of going to customer support, he decided to spend $40,000 and talk face-to-face with Nintendo’s president.

This man wanted to stay anonymous, so we don’t have his name. The 40,000 dollars he spent bought him enough stock in Nintendo to make him a shareholder. He was invited to an annual shareholder meeting held on Wednesday. The attendees weren’t exactly guaranteed a chance to ask questions, but the man still asked Shuntaro Furukawa, the CEO of Nintendo, about “fan-favorite games” such as “F-Zero,” featuring the character “Captain Falcon.”

“F-Zero” is a game featuring Captain Falcon, a character who is the favorite of some. F-Zero was introduced in 1990, along with its main character, Captain Falcon, but hasn’t had a new installment since 2004. Since 2004, Captain Falcon has still been present in the popular “Super Smash Bros” games.

“It is realistically difficult to develop new titles and remakes, including sequels, for every Nintendo game that people request, but we are very grateful and appreciate the expectations our fans have for our games,” Furukawa said, according to gaming news website VGC.

Shinya Takahashi, the Nintendo Senior Managing Executive Officer, said that the company of Nintendo is “always” looking at how it can remake and create games.

Takashi has said that Nintendo is always trying to find ways to make remakes and new games and thinking about ways to make games that players will enjoy.
