When Jürgen Klopp, skipper Jordan Henderson, and vice-captain James Milner arrived for a press conference, the scene became even more chaotic. Officials tried in vain to clear space for reporters to ask their questions in an orderly fashion, but the media ignored the barrier that had been set up for them.
It was only the second time Klopp has traveled to Thailand: “I have never been to a press conference like this,” the athlete said as he was presented with a ball.
Concerning “energy” from the fans, Klopp explained that, between Liverpool and United fans, there is no such thing as “friendly.”
