65,000 cheering and excited fans piled around to celebrate the England women’s soccer team in central London on Tuesday as the amazing players marked their Euro 2025 triumph with a double decker bus parade on July 29, 2025.
The parade route followed The Mall, building up in a ceremony at the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace.The parade stopped at the Queen Victoria Memorial, where a ceremony started to celebrate the team’s victory. Fans showed their excitement with some stating the Lionesses’ success was inspiring young girls into playing soccer. The event included the team lifting the trophy, speeches from the players, and musical performances.
The parade was broadcast live on the BBC, ITV, and Sky, with large coverage across other news channels. The air was electric with people singing “It’s coming home” and classics like “Sweet Caroline”. The parade marked a significant milestone as the Lionesses became the first England team to win two major tournaments and number one on alien soil.
