Ivana Trump, 73, ex-wife of former president Donald Trump, died on July 14th, 2022. She died due to a “blunt impact injury,” a report from the New York City chief medical examiner said.
After her death, the Trump family announced her death which happened on Thursday in their Manhattan home. On former president Donald Trump’s social media platform “Truth Social,” Trump himself wrote, “I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City.”
Her death was checked by the New York police detectives, but there was no sign showing any source of clue that there was criminality involved in the accident. Before the New York police detectives started the investigation, police got an urgent call at 12:40 P.M. They rushed to Ivana’s home, but only found her unconscious on a staircase in her East 64th Street home near Central Park. Her death, caused by her fall, was confirmed after two law enforcement officials who knew about the event said that Ivana was dead.
This wasn’t uncommon, as 1 in 4 people that are over the age of 65 fall each year. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention declared that falling has caused many deaths that were similar to Ivana’s, with the rate for the deaths being 64 in 100,000.
The Trump family was saddened at her death, with Ivana’s daughter, Ivanka, tweeting “Heartbroken by the passing of my mother. Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She lived life to the fullest. … I will miss her forever.” Her siblings have also shared their sorrow on online platforms by sharing cherished pictures of memories of their family.
