The Start Of The FIFA Club World Cup 2025
32 teams will head to the US for the 2025 Club World Cup. The four-week club football competition will begin on Sunday, 15 June and ending the final on Sunday, 13 July.
Every four years, there is a Club World Cup. There used to be 7 teams, and now they have got 32 teams. It will take place in the United States this year and in Canada and Mexico next year. It will play in 12 different stadiums across 11 cities in the US. The opening match will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and the final will take place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. 32 teams will split into eight groups of four teams. The winner needs to beat all the other teams to get into the finals. Four English teams were champions before: Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
The Premier League Manchester City is in Group G. Their first game starts in Philadelphia against Wydad. Their second game is in the Atlanta against Al Ain. Their final game is in Orlando against Juventus. Likewise, the Premier League Chelsea in Group D will be facing Los Angeles FC in Atlanta for their first match, Flamengo in Philadelphia for their second, and Esperance Sportive de Tunis in Philadelphia for their third.
