Johnny stranded in Bermuda
Johnny goes to the sea in Bermuda to admire the ocean and bird watch the passing sea gulls. It starts to become extremely foggy, and the boat stops while winds are howling. The boat stops, the engine stops working, and Johnny gets really worried. He finds an old paper map and locates where he is after two hours of hard work. He finds an island only 2 miles from his boat, but it is really hard to see from sight because of the fog. There was no more gas in the boat, so he could not start the boat. He found that there were enough food and water in the boat for 3 weeks, which means that he needs to find food and water on an island within 3 weeks. The boat starts to move a little because Johnny found an extra bottle of gas in the emergency kit. Once he gets to the island, he luckily found a tent. He sets up it in the back of the boat and uses the tent as his shelter. The first week passes, and it’s getting really hot. Johnny really wants to go to the ocean to cool down, but he doesn’t have a towel or a change of clothing. during the night he shot the flare gun. He thinks that the rescuers could see the flare because it was only a 30 mile distance from land, but the fog made it almost impossible to see even from just 10 miles away. In the 3rd week, the fog went away and the possibilities of being saved increase. He also found a raft with oars in it, and he steers it back to the dock he came from with his compass and map. After 2 days of rafting, he gets to land and faints with a smile.
