Rain
Grey clouds give water,
Puddles show very big trees,
Rain taps glass like drums.
Fox
In the dark of night,
A red fox slips through the grass,
hunting for chickens
Winter
trees bend in cold air
cold wind flies out of the mouth
Snow hushes the world.
City morning
Coffee steam rises,
Footsteps bounce on big, dark streets,
Sunlight climbs buildings.
Ocean
Waves pull back and forth,
washing up rocks and seashells
splashing little kids
Growing up
Shoes once much too big,
Now fits just right on my feet
I am growing old
