A movie I have recently watched is called The Litchi Road. The Chinese historical fiction film set in the Tang Dynasty dramatizes the cruel side of power. The Litchi Road is a historical fiction set in Tang Dynasty China that dramatizes a heart-touching story of a man losing many of his friends through creative storytelling. The successful movie was recently released in 2025. The movie is the same version of the drama TV series directed by Cao Dun, which was adapted from Ma Boyong’s novel. The two shows both have the same plot, but the movie puts all the episodes together, and the actors are different too. The plot is of a young scholar, Li Shande, who moved to Chang’an. After many years in this fabulous town, the low official was tasked to bring perishable lychees from Lingnan for the Imperial Consort Yang’s birthday. This journey was impossible and guaranteed death, because if Li Shande wasn’t able to bring them back without rotting, he would immediately be killed. Shande travels throughout the country and builds relationships with many strangers who helped him. After this mission is successfully achieved, Li Shande realizes what an awful and gruesome kingdom he lives in. Which soon burns up in flames with smoke so thick it’s unable to be seen. He addresses this problem to the Consort’s assistant and is seriously beaten and punished. He was exiled to a different town, which was the specific city that he got his lychee from. After many years of living, he soon receives the news that his childhood town was destroyed by rivals. This movie has lots of strengths and almost no weaknesses. The sets presented in the film were detailed and realistic. The film recreates Tang-era China with detailed costumes, sets, and scenery. It also gives insight into ancient courier systems, court politics, and cultural values. helped me immerse myself in the action. Gives insight into ancient courier systems, court politics, and cultural values. The strong and unique acting is filled with humor, depth, and emotion throughout. The movie is a cultural and interesting film that I would recommend to history lovers and action enthusiasts. It shows the not-so-known story of the Tang Dynasty. Also in the movie, there are a lot of thrilling scenes, which include escaping soldiers and an unplanned ambush by his superior. This emotional, action-packed movie must be watched by anyone who is a history and action fan.

The cheating scandals at South Korea's top universities, especially the one incident where students used ChatGPT on a test for a class literally called "Natural Language Processing and ChatGPT" show that schools are fighting a battle they can't win if they don't change their outdated system.
