Rating on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’sorcerers Stone
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the first book of the Harry Potter series, a series about wizards. The story follows Harry Potter, an ordinary boy who discovers he is a wizard and is sent to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There, he makes friends, learns magic, and uncovers a dangerous plot involving a powerful hidden object. The book is great for 10-year-olds who want to read fantasies, but it also isn’t the best
One of the book’s biggest strengths is its imaginative world. Rowling fills Hogwarts with magical details like floating candles, moving portraits, and a talking sorting hat, which give easter eggs to find and make the story feel alive. The characters are very easy to remember, and even the side characters change things in the novel. The story moves very fast, and with every passing year, Harry is fighting new things.
The book is not perfect, as its writing is very basic and older kids would not read it. Also, it’s very obvious what’s going to happen in the story, as you can predict it. Also, the adults, especially Dumbledore, sometimes act carelessly, leaving Harry to solve problems, which I think is not a good lesson to little kids.
With these small weaknesses, I still think it is one of the best books. It’s a great book series about fantasy and the wizarding world. The characters are my favorite because Harry Potter doesn’t do everything; the other characters combined do most of the things in the story.
Overall, I highly recommend this book for people who are still kids and people who want to read about a magical adventure world. Even though it’s not complex, it’s very popular and worth your time.
