Cats and Dogs Can Live Together Happily

Many people say that dogs and cats are born enemies. They claim that they would never get along because they’re opposite. However, this isn’t true. According to the Guide Dog Foundation, the notion of dogs and cats being enemies comes from movies and cartoons. However, that doesn’t make it real. I believe that they can get along in perfect harmony.
Movies like “Dogs and Cats” and “Revenge of Kitty Galore” all suggest that cats and dogs cannot get along. They describe conflicts and tragic history that cause the two kinds of creatures to despise each other. Like us, though, they just need time to get used to each other. Closer Pets say that Cats and Dogs may sometimes fight not because they hate each other, but because they need resources like food and water. It also states that different breeds of dogs and cats may result in different kinds of friendships. For example, dogs with a higher prey drive may find it harder to get used to the fact that the cat is a companion and not food. These kinds of dogs include terriers, Australian Shepherds, Spaniels, and other kinds of dogs. Dogs like Golden Retrievers and Pomeranians tend to be easier to introduce to other animals.
Some people say that the behaviors of the two animals are just too different for them to get along. Some dogs tend to be playful, while cats are more independent. However, with some time, the behaviors and instincts of the two animals can be altered and changed a bit to allow the animals to get along. When dogs wag their tail, it usually means that they want to play. To cats, though, this is a sign that they are angry. Again, this will take time and some adjustment, but if given enough time, it is possible for these two animals to be best buddies. Many owners who attempt to have their two animals get along successfully do so. Not only do the animals get along, but they also cuddle, sleep, and play together.
In conclusion, although many people say that cats and dogs are mortal enemies, I believe that they can be the best pair of animals with some time and patience to allow the animals to adapt.
