Young Fashion Designer Breaks Another World Record
Young fashion designer Max Alexander recently broke a world record during the Paris Fashion Week at the age of 10.
During the 2026 Paris Fashion Week, hosted on March 3, Tuesday, Max Alexander showcased his collection of 15 different clothing designs. At 7, Max broke the record of being the youngest fashion designer ever. By displaying his clothing designs at the 2026 Paris Fashion Week, he has broken another Guinness World Record for being the youngest designer to have a show at the Paris Fashion Week.
Max’s passion for sewing and designing clothes began when he was 4 years old, when he started getting exposed to sewing. It was then that Max and his mother realized his talent. At 5 years old, he mastered many different sewing techniques taught to him by two local seamstresses. Not long after, he hosted his own fashion show in the backyard of his house.
He has created many different clothing designs. His recent Fall 2026-2027 clothing collection, presented in the 2026 Paris Fashion Week, consists of 15 unique designs. This collection was centered around flowers, imagination, and creative recycling. To Max, sustainability is very important when designing clothes. “My collection consists of 15 dresses, and they’re all, well, 90 percent of my show is biodegradable, recyclable, sustainable, made from dead stock and surplus,” Max told CBS News.
Through social media, Max has continued to show his art to everyone. His mother, Sherri Madison runs Max’s Instagram account. His account has over five million followers, and people continue to support and admire his work.
Max continues to sew and design clothes. Max says, “I would like to start working on some new ideas I have and hopefully keep showing around the world.” Many people are looking forward to what designs he is planning to sew next.
