A couple days ago, I watched this movie called Happy Feet. Mumble, the main character, has had really happy feet and has not been able control his feet since he was a baby. He does not graduate from being a baby penguin because his singing is really grumpy.
The movie is sometimes boring, or let’s say, there are some points with not much action when the penguins just talk for so long and there is nothing fun. Throughout the movie, it was really funny and sometimes made me happy. The movie is mainly about how Mumble believes that there are aliens (humans) who are taking their fish away, causing a lot of penguins to starve.
The elder penguins decided not to believe that there are aliens because of the culture that is passed down from every generation, but most penguins still try to support Mumble, yet still the elders still don’t believe him because a long time ago the elders kicked him which causes the elders not to believe anything he says. The elders are the only ones who can kick other penguins out because they are known to be the wisest of the penguins. Gloria still believes him and that there are aliens. She is also one of the only penguins who trust Mumble, which means that she does care about Mumble and always will try to protect him.
Mumble meets 4 other mini penguins after being chased by a seal. The 4 other mini penguins follow him and make sure they keep him safe. Mumble finds the aliens, gets locked up in a zoo, and discovers that his happy feet can communicate with the humans.
Once Mumble goes back to his home, he tells everybody that he met the aliens in person. Then, they all started doing his happy feet skills because Mumble says it is the only way to communicate with them. When the humans came suddenly, all the penguins including the elders did the feet dance that Mumble had showed them, and after, the humans realize they are taking their fish they decide to ban fishing in Antarctica, so now the penguins have food again.
Happy feet shows that anything is possible if evidence is possible.
