Squishmallows are a toy for kids of all ages. Squishmallows can range from 2 inches to 24 tall, and can cost $5.99 to $39.99. People 18 and up are driving sales, by increasing advertising.

The growth of buying Squishmallows is fresh. There are over 11 billion impressions of Squishmallows on Tiktok, and the Squishmallows may even possibly become an enduring brand like Pokemon or Hello Kitty.

Chris Byrne, a toy expert and consultant, said that Squishmallows aren’t a fad, and haven’t become mainstream yet. He explained that it’s all about the fans, because they are loyal and passionate about buying Squishmallows, and Squishmallows will absolutely become “classic.”

Squishmallows come in all sizes, and each Squishmallow has its own look, name, and what you would call a “squish date.” A squish date is the date of birth for the Squishmallow and a detailed backstory. For example, there was a chef owl named Winston; then a vegetarian lion who loved to nap named Leonard; there was Tatiana, Lalinda, and many more.

Why did kids like these Squishmallows so much? Maybe the fact that these Squishmallows are diverse and inclusive. Squishmallows aren’t toys separated by gender, so characters who are nonbinary and others can play with them as well. Not even to mention that kids who are deaf, blind, or even use a wheelchair can have as much fun with Squishmallows as any normal person.

When Squishmallows were first sold in 2017, customers instantly fell in love with Squishmallows. Nick, a 27-year old from Bel Air Md., has over 400 Squishmallows! Nick claimed that he had spent over $2,000 on these.

Squishmallows are sold across over 50 countries now, all of which were carefully chosen and organized.
