In late June of 2022, divers found a marble stone that had the head of the Greek and Roman hero Hercules. The divers and researchers believe that this rock is from the headless statue. They are almost sure that this is the missing piece because of his appearance. This is because it is massive, has a big beard, and short hair.

This wasn’t the only statue they found; they also found different statues of mythological figures like Hermes and Apollo. In different dives they also found legs of another statue, the ship’s equipment, and two human teeth.
