Once there was a pumpkin named Paul. Paul lived alone in the woods. Paul always stayed in the house and didn’t have much fun alone. He wanted to have a big adventure in the unknown world instead of his little boring house. Paul didn’t venture farther than beyond the woods afraid getting lost. He walked around the perimeter of the forest looking at the view that is out of the huge forest.
One day, Paul packed up, walked around the forest for the last time, and said goodbye to his house. He took a deep breath and headed out.
On the first day, Paul headed into a big city that was nearby. He knew that people sold pumpkins so he took the opposite side, not leading to the city and kept walking. He walked for days and days. After a long time, he took out a map and knew he wanted to go to another forest. He walked and walked and got to a large body of water. He knew how to make a ship so he gathered a lot of wood. He placed the wood carefully and drilled nails into them and hours later, the ship was ready.
He set sail and fought against rough waters days of rough waters followed. Tush, a whale, came by. Paul asked the whale, “How long is it from the shore?”
The whale said, “About 12 miles. It will take you three days to completely get there if I push you. It will probably take 5 days if you go by yourself.” Together, they went forward, and finally they got to shore.
When Paul turned around after saying goodbye, he saw lush forests everywhere. He discovered new plants and animals. Paul hopped around with joy. After a few days, he wanted to go home. After the journey, he went back to his sweet home.
