Last month on Sunday, Ukraine’s military said that they had withdrawn from the eastern city of Lysychansk, hours after some of Russia’s forces took control of Lysychansk after an artillery bombardment.

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Yuriy Sak said that the city was not in full control. But this was wrong and later confirmed, so that the people would be saved above all else.

Due to the withdrawal of the army, Russian forces had a chance to attack the city. So they did, they destroyed nearly half the city, but good thing there were no citizens there anymore.
