The nation that I am talking about is Australia. Their technology is that if someone gets Covid or something, the police can use facial recognition to see if the person is at home. There is also an app called G2G that is basically a 24-hour surveillance camera.

San Francisco was the first city to start this facial recognition, and later it spread to other nations.

Now the government is starting to use this technology so they can keep their nation safe. But it was banned because the privacy was not that good, but the facial recognition came back up again later.

But technology is also helping many people do things easier like opening doors with their faces.

All and all, this whole facial recognition thing is quite useful in some situations, but also can invade people’s privacy.
