I’m sure you have heard about the Amazon Rainforest. This rainforest is a dangerous place.
When you hear the word rainforest, you probably think about a pretty and dirty wet forest. This rainforest, however, does have a few places that can be tricky and deadly, starting with the waters there.
At first, you might think, what is the problem with the waters there? Well at first the water was safe, but due to human activity, the waters were poisoned with chlorine, kerosene, sulphuric acid, mercury and cyanide! As you know, there are very big problems in the forest.
As the rainforest is amazing, you still need to beware of dangerous things, like animals such as Poison Dart Frogs, Jaguars, Piranhas, Amazon River Dolphins, South American Tapir, Capybara, Anacondas, Black Caiman, Amazonian Giant Centipede, and millions more!
Plants like Lobster Claw, Rubber Tree, Monkey Brush Vine, Venus Fly Trap, Pitcher Plant, Giant Water Lily, Orchid’s cacao, Castor Bean and hundreds more are also dangerous.
As you know, forests have layers too! The layers can be over 4 kinds! The top part is the emergent layer. The layer under that is called the canopy. The layer under that is called the understory. The very bottom floor is called the forest floor. As you know, the rainforest is very interesting. You can look for new animals, plants and fungi. There are always new things to discover!
