I believe Simone Biles is the best athlete. She has participated in many gymnastics competitions and is considered the best gymnast of all time. At the Paris Olympic Games, she not only walked away with four gold medals but also won her second Olympic all-around gold medal. This victory makes her the third woman in Olympic history to accomplish this feat and the first since the 1960s. She is a three-time Olympian, and she currently has a total of eleven Olympic medals: seven gold, two silver, and two bronze.
She has also won 30 World Championship medals; 23 are gold.
In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Simone Biles became the first gymnast from the US to win four gold medals at an Olympic Games. She has also won six worldwide all-around titles. There are many skills named after her, most of which she came up with herself: The Biles Floor (aka, the double layout, named after her in 2013) is rated G in the Code of Points (gymnastics scoring system) and worth 0.70. The Biles Vault (named after her in 2018, and Simone is the only gymnast to have ever done this skill) has a difficulty score of 6.00. The Biles Floor II (aka the triple-twisting double tuck, named after her in 2019, which has also only been performed by Simone Biles) is the only skill rated J, and it is with a whole 1.00. The Biles Bar (named after her in 2019) is the only beam skill rated H and worth 0.80.
That’s pretty good for a twenty-seven-year-old, don’t you think?
