Riots have launched for 5 days in port-city Marseille and Paris in response to the death of Nahel M., a 17-year-old who has been shot by a police officer after being stopped for a violation on traffic.
As reported, the riots started because of the unjust that people felt for the young teenager Nahel, causing furthermore issues on safety for their homeland.
The French police have already arrested more than 700 protesters over the 5 days of protest in large cities in France.
Large protest groups have been engaged in running battles with armed police and caused chaos around crowds of tourists and travelers.
As young as 14, tourists are also getting involved into the protest.
“No justice, no peace!!” one young man screamed into an NPR reporter’s microphone, as he sprinted away with a group of teenagers from the chase of policemen.
Acts of vandalism and arson have also caused damage of public buildings.
