Professional tennis player, Rafael Nadal, proved to all that he’s still got it by winning his first grass court match in three years. The aging tennis player has had speculation regarding his retirement, however, his participation in this year’s Wimbledon demonstrates that he’s not done, yet.

Prior to Wimbledon, Nadal had an impressive year, winning the Australian Open to set record for 21 Grand Slam victories before securing his 14th French Open trophy. This star-studded year is evidence that Rafael is chugging along just fine.

The king of clay courts missed the previous year’s Wimbledon in order to rest following the French Open, and the 2020 Wimbledon was cancelled due to the worldwide pandemic. His long absence doesn’t seem to have affected him much, as Rafa appears to be his normal self, despite his chronic ankle injury.

Nadal’s claims to be feeling better and ready to win have been backed by his recent victory on the grass court. Fans are certainly cheering him on, and it’d be great to see Nadal win one more Wimbledon Championship.
