On June 22, 2022, the conservancy of Southwest Florida revealed that they had captured a 215-pound female Burmese python in Everglades National Park.
After that, they found that she was carrying 122 developing eggs. That is a record for eggs found in a female python.
There was a python challenge before this. The two-week-long competition had experts hunt down as many snakes as possible, and in total, 223 Burmese pythons were dead from that competition.
